Locked Rotar Current- The current a motor draws when the rotar is stationary & full power is applied
Locked Rotar Torq- the amount of torq a motor has when the rotar is stationary and full power is applied
Closed Transition- When we never disconnect the motor from one stage to another [one voltage to another]
Open Transition- disconnect the motor (in Wye) and reconnect it in Delta
(Disconnect motor going from one stage or voltage to another.)
In Wye Delta starting application, how many external leads do we need?
6 ( T1- T6 ) {making a delta into a wye}
[in a dual voltage motor you need 9]
Interpoles - To reduce armature reaction or prevent arcing at the brushes
(problem) (symptom of problem)
What type of motor starters use SCR?
Answer: Solid State
Silicone Control Rectifier (SCR) - like a controlled diode it allows current to flow in one direction.
SCR has 3 Leads: Anode, Cathode, Gate
What is the difference between Synchronous speed & Rated Speed?
Ans:
Synchronous speed is the speed of the magnetic field & Rated Speed is the actual speed of the shaft or rotar.
In dual voltage motor applications how do we configure the windings, that is, for low voltage are they in series or parallel?
Parallel

Catechism Reflection
Above All - Charity
The whole concern of the doctrine and its teaching must be directed to the love that never ends. Whether something is proposed for belief, for hope or for action, the love of our Lord must always be made accessible, so that anyone can see that all the works of perfect Christian virtue spring from love and have no other objective than to arrive at love.

What are Good Bibles for Catholics?
No time to read? Go for audio bibles then
truthandlifebible.com
As a general rule I look up the book of Luke and I view two things to know if a Bible is accurate 1. The Annunciation (Luke Ch1 vs 28) 2. The Magnificat (Luke Ch1 vs 48)
In the Annunciation you should see "Hail, Mary Full of Grace"
In the Magnificat you should see "All generations will call me blessed."
Why? Because that is what you find in the Douay Rheims which all Catholic Bibles stem from (read below to see the significance).
I have seen versions of the bible that say
That is an inaccurate translation leaving out much. The angel came to her and said, “Peace be with you! The Lord is with you and has greatly blessed you!” GNT of Luke 1:28
In the Magnificat
...From now on all people will call me happy GNT of Luke 1:48
The word "Happy" is a completely different meaning than the word "Blessed." The first is an emotion that comes from within yourself and the latter is a gift given from almighty God.
If these are inaccurate who knows what else is. This is not what Saint Jerome Translated from the original into the Vulgate* (read under Douay Rheims for more about that.)
Douay Rheims
I find this helpful due to the fact that It was Saint Jerome who first translated the original languages of the original documents that consist of the Bible and brought them together into what was the common language of the day, Latin. That version is known as the Vulgate of which the Douay Rheims is translated from. The Douay Rheims is the first English version of the Bible.

The footnotes for each book of the New Testament are great. They help you have an understanding as to what the scripture passages are meant to convey. It is similar to the Navarre Bible. I find this very helpful and easy for the average person to understand.
New Catholic Answer Bible: New American Bible Revised Edition (NABRE)
This is a great version as well that is the same version used in the Catholic Liturgy in the United States. This has the same text as any other of the NABRE's out there by other publishers, but what really makes the publisher Fireside stand out are the brief one page inserts within it. Through out this bible are page inserts that explain and defend the Catholic Faith in matters that Catholics are often challenged on in terms of their faith. (Example, What the Church Teaches about Traditional Marriage, Euthanasia, Abortion, Contraception and a vast array of topics Catholics are often challenged about. Each insert is a brief page explanation as to why Catholics believe the way they do, all the scriptures that back it up, and References to the Catechism to learn more in-depth about the topic. The Topics are easy to find should you be challenged and have 'the good book' on hand.
